Born into the Ito clan, Ryuuki was blessed from the beginning with a powerful cursed technique and a successful future. She was the gifted child of the Ito clan, having bare The All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods, an inherent technique that hadn't been around for many generations.
Growing up Ryuuki had good relations with her immediate family and grandmother, her cousins on the other hand looked at her with envy in their eyes yet they never dared to treat her poorly as that would anger the head of the clan, Ito Umi, their grandmother.
While Ryuuki had a good life at home she had very few friends growing up, people didn't stay around her for long, other than one, her dear childhood friend who stuck around; Yoshino Junpei. Ryuuki has made a habit of visiting Junpei whenever she has the freedom to, while that has been limited now with her now studying at jujutsu high. When unable to visit Junpei Ryuuki will send him messages or call him to check up on him.
Ryuuki began to study at jujutsu high right around when Megumi started, the two of them both being more on the quiet and reserved side as individuals made it a little awkward at first but as they warmed up to one another they had a more friendly atmosphere around them and able to share small friendly chats as well as the ability to rely on one another.
Ryuuki wasn't with Megumi when he had been on the mission to retrieve Sukuna's finger. Instead she had been on another mission, upon hearing of what happened with Megumi Ryuuki felt a sense of guilt that he had been hurt, even almost dying; had yuji not been able to contain Sukuna. Ryuuki believed that had she finished her mission sooner she could have been able to go and help him. This feeling led her to strive to become stronger to protect the few she cared about.
